3 Free SMS messages per day to any Vodacom

With Vodacom's Email2SMS service you can send a up to 3 Free SMS messages per day from your email to any Vodacom subscriber and recieve replies straight to your email "Inbox". You can also send a SMS from your cellphone to any email address and recieve the *replies back to your phone as a long SMS.
Q: Why is this service now registered? A: A lot of spammers were using other people's email addresses to get past the SMS per day limit. We have introduced the registration process to ensure this does not happen again. Also, this would cut down on the spam SMS's received by cellphone users.
 Q: Can someone reply to my email from their cellphone? A: Yes, with Email2SMS their reply will sent directly to your email address.
 Q: Can someone reply to my SMS from their email? A: Yes, provided that they have also registered for the Vodacom Email2SMS serivce, their reply will be sent directly to your cellphone. Please first register to use this free service.
 To Send a SMS from your email (Email to SMS): From your email program... Create a new email message. In the "TO" field enter the recipients cellphone number followed by "@voda.co.za " e.g. 0821234567@voda.co.za.
 Type your message (up to 140 characters) & send it. NB: Most people leave the Subject blank as it counts against the 140 character limit. To reply to a SMS from your email: Please register first in order to reply From your email program... Reply as you would to any email message. The message will be sent a a long SMS message.
 Please Remember! Anyone replying from their email to your SMS message will also need to register for the service in order for you to receive their reply. To send an email from your cellphone (SMS to Email): From your cellphone... Select "messages" & then "write messages". Type in the recipient's email address. Leave a space.
 Write your message. Send the SMS to to the following number: 4004. The recipient of your message can reply, the same way they would any email. Please Remember! If your phone doesn't allow you to use the @ symbol or the underscore ( _ ), you can type (a) instead of an @ symbol and (u) for an underscore.. To reply to an email from your cellphone: From your cellphone... Select 'Reply' on your cellphone. Type your reply. Select 'send' on your cellphone. The reply number appears automatically e.g. 400412345. Don't change this! Press 'OK' to send the message. The message is automatically routed to the email address from which the originating email to SMS message came.
 What Does It Cost? When you send an email from your cellphone, it costs the same as an ordinary SMS, the cost of which is determined by your tariff plan. An SMS sent from your email is FREE!
